Ley Nº 6676 / PROHÍBE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE TRANSFORMACIÓN Y CONVERSIÓN DE SUPERFICIES CON COBERTURA DE BOSQUES EN LA REGIÓN ORIENTAL
In the year 2020, the structure has been modified by Law 6676 "Which prohibits the activities of transformation and conversation of surfaces with forest cover in the Eastern Region, and in its Art. 3 gives the attributions of the operation to the Institute National Forestry, is the regulation currently in force.

Ley Nº 6256 / PROHÍBE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE TRANSFORMACIÓN Y CONVERSIÓN DE SUPERFICIES CON COBERTURA DE BOSQUES EN LA REGIÓN ORIENTAL.
In 2018, Paraguay have promulgated Law 6256 "That prohibits the transformation and conversion activities of areas with forest cover in the Eastern Region" that in its Art.3 establishes the National Forest Monitoring System ", where the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development and the National Forestry Institute were in charge of its operation.
